its a hit!

woo-hoo! after a few negative posts (sorry! had to vent a little) about the theater and the arts i am happy to report that we have a hit show on our hands! Mamet's Speed-the-Plow is rockin it right now and its all a buzz in town.  It's a fantastic show...and it has been so much fun to market and promote!

my acting class is coming to a close. i have learned an INCREDIBLE amount from this 12 week class.  i think my biggest take a ways are feeling like i have a grasp on my own physical instincts and being able to have an emotional prep before a scene.  i kind of took the fall to be a student and devote time to this class. i have not auditioned for anything since august (i knew i would be over committing if i got a part in a play) but i decided that after this class i am going back in the game...audition....audition....audition! starting with one next thursday! there are several things coming up that i want to audition for so i'm super pumped about it.

in other news i will be living a dream this thanksgiving day! i have ALWAYS wanted to watch the macy's thanksgiving day parade live and this year i will be there! its a little crazy but my roommate and i are getting on a 1:00am bus to nyc and getting there around 5:00am which is the perfect time to snag seats for the parade.  then we are off to bask in the beauty of nyc during the holidays! some outdoor skating perhaps? looking at windows? it will be all i can fit in before i jump on a bus back to boston that evening.  i have a friend from new york visiting boston the next day or else i would probably never leave!  

and for the most exciting news of all: amy is coming to boston in like 12 hours!! AHHH! i am dying with glee and happiness.

Hope life is treating everyone well and you are all enjoying the fall weather.  i am trying to get use to the sun going down by 4:30 and it feeling like 10pm when i leave work. its almost winter here...ohhhh geez...i need new snow boots before it gets crazy!
